Sandwich panels can be composed of various materials, such as PU foam, wood, polyester and/or aluminium layers. The choice of materials depends on the intended use and the required insulation value. Manufacturers of sandwich panels prefer using a single adhesive for all layers and all types of materials.

Simson has developed the Marocol® product range especially for this purpose. The extensive experience Simson has gained in the assembly industry is reflected in these products. Almost all of Simsons polyurethane adhesives are 2-component systems, so that curing is guaranteed even for large, non-porous surfaces.

In addition, Marocol® adhesives offer certainty that the sandwich panels will be resistant to extremely high and low temperatures. The adhesives are suitable for both manual and mechanical application. The panels are built up layer by layer and then pressed as a single whole. The open time and pressing time of the adhesive are normative in this process.

First-generation universal sandwich panel adhesive with an open time of 150 minutes and a pressing time of 8 hours. Marocol PU2/D430 has been on the market for over 25 years.


Marocol® 18576 More information
One of the most popular sandwich panel adhesives for over 10 years. Excellent adhesion to metals. Open time: approximately 120 minutes. Pressing time: 8 hours.


Marocol® 18581 More information
This variant of Marocol 18576 has a long open time of 240 minutes, while the pressing time remains 8 hours. Marocol 18581 also has flexible properties in order to better absorb the movements of various materials.


Marocol® 18615 More information
This variant of Marocol 18576 has an open time of 60 minutes and an extremely reduced pressing time of only 4 hours.


Marocol® 61110 More information
Universal sandwich panel adhesive for mechanical application. Developed for the special swirl technique. The open time is 60 minutes, the pressing time only 4 hours.
